1. General
This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes how to withdraw from the service, cancel a subscription, and obtain a refund for the paid features and digital content of the "Argumentator" Service. It is an integral part of the Public Offer and applies together with the Russian Consumer Protection Law (No. 2300-1) and the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
2. Consumer's right to withdraw
The User may withdraw from the services agreement at any time, provided they reimburse the Seller's actual costs incurred in performing the agreement (Art. 32 of the Consumer Protection Law). Because the service is digital and delivered electronically, access opens immediately after payment; by starting to use the paid features, the User consents to the immediate start of the digital service.
3. Digital-service specifics
The price of an already-rendered (used) digital service is non-refundable: if the User actually used the premium features during the paid period, the service is deemed rendered for that period.
A refund for the unused remainder of a paid period is issued less the value of the part of the service already rendered and the Seller's actual costs (including the payment aggregator's fee, if not refunded by the aggregator).
4. Cancelling a subscription (auto-renewal)
Cancelling auto-renewal stops future charges; access remains until the end of the current paid period. You can cancel:
- in the subscription settings in the app / your Service account;
- for subscriptions bought in the App Store or Google Play — in that store's subscription settings;
- by emailing [email protected].
We recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
5. Refund procedure and timelines
To request a refund, email [email protected] with the payment date and amount, the account email, the reason, and refund details (if needed). The Seller reviews the request within 10 calendar days and, where justified, issues the refund within 10 business days of the decision, using the original payment method (same bank card) unless otherwise agreed.
6. Erroneous and duplicate payments
An erroneous or duplicate payment is refunded in full once the error is confirmed.
