Help & FAQ
Common questions about Argumentator. For anything else, contact us via Support.
-
What does Argumentator do?
It builds 3, 5 or 7 strong arguments for any statement in seconds. With sources mode adds citations; Live debate lets you spar with the AI or another user.
-
Free vs Pro vs Premium?
Free: 3 basic generations / day. Pro: 50 basic + 10 sourced + 5 live / day. Premium: 100 / 30 / 15. Subscribe in-app via App Store / Google Play.
-
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Android: Play Store → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
-
How does sourced mode work?
It searches the web (Tavily) for evidence, then attaches inline citations to each argument with the source URL.
-
What are Debates? (beta)
Challenge another user to a head-to-head debate and exchange AI-assisted arguments turn by turn. You can surrender or decline a challenge at any time, and block or report an opponent. Debates are still in testing/beta, so behaviour may change.
-
How do I block or report someone?
In a debate, use the block or report action on your opponent. Blocking hides them and prevents future challenges; reporting flags the content for review. Manage your blocked list under Settings → Blocked users.
-
What is the Daily Challenge?
Each day we publish one shared statement for everyone. Build arguments for it from the home screen — a quick way to practise without thinking of a topic.
-
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Settings → Delete account in the app, or visit /account-delete on the website. Data is removed within 30 days per GDPR/Privacy Policy.
-
Does Argumentator use AI?
Yes — all argument generation is AI-assisted. We label AI-generated content per Apple 1.2 and Google Play AI policies.
